What We Determine the Subsequent Processing According to?
1, The requirement in the drawings.
2, How does the part work?
Improve the hardness.
1, Heating treatment:
Available for the parts require excellent mechanical properties, such as gears bearing high load and other parts with great abrasive resistance. The hardness could go up to over HRC25.
2, Vapour treatment:
Available for the parts require moderate mechanical properties, such as value plate in compressor, and other pressing plates. It will form a layer of oxide film on the surface of parts, which will contribute to good abrasive resistance. Normally, the hardness will go up to over HRB70.
Improve the dimensional accuracy.
Finishing: available for the gears require high precision but don’t need machining, such as oil bearing, connecting rod and high precision spur gear. The processing is limited by structure. And the finished parts are not recommend to be heated.
Machining: consists of turning, grinding, milling, drilling, etc.
Burring: vibration grinding, abrasive blasting, etc.
The surface treatment; plating, polishing, blackening, etc.
