Tests revealed that the pressing of metal powders related to the purity of powder, besides, the purer the powders were, the easier pressing was. In another word, the purity of powders affected closely shaping. In general, lower-purity material includes many impurities, most of which exist as fluoride, which will result in that powder metallurgy products become crispy and hard and that the resistance increases in pressing.
