Nowadays, with the booming of domestic automotive industry, especially domestic auto companies, Chinese casting industry has been developed fast and well. Die casting is applied to manufacture aluminum alloy blocks or magnesium alloy blocks, which meets the requirement of light weight. These kinds of toolings are very difficult to make. In the process, CAD/CAM is applied widely in toolings design; some companies utilize software of finite element analysis to analyze flow field and temperature field , such as ANYCASTING, PROCAST, etc; processing program of fine finishing after quenching is adjusted widely, and other advanced equipments and technologies are recruited and developed.
Nowadays, the casting toolings these are used in household appliances, motorcycle industry, etc totally could meet the dometic requirements. And the domestic share is raised gradually. Meanwhile, most of large, high precision, complex casting toolings need to be imported. However, some toolings made by Chinese manufacturers has been exported to developed countries.
