Die casting technology is a highly efficient forming technology with little machining or no machining. It has a history of more than 150 years, since it started to be used in the early 19th century. Due to die casting technology has unique technical characteristics and remarkable economic efficiency when used in the modern industry for the production of various kinds of metal parts, so for a long time people has been researched die casting technology, die casting toolings and die casting machines and has obtained satisfying results.
Die Casting in China
In China, we have never stopped pursuing technical development and production with high quality. Although there is still tight gap between our level with advanced level in the world, but it’s getting more narrow, judging from some of evaluation criterias. Die casting highly depends on technologieis and experiences. Chinese professional persons are not enough, and the overall quality is relatively low.
We have gotten both more opportunities of development and more hard competitions from the market without national boundary. Personnel is fundamental for survival and development of a company. We shall learn constantly to bring in advanced production technologies and develop technical personnel and management personnel with high quality. Only in this way, casting industry in China will make more improvements. Nowadays, there is a big gap between China with foreign countries for lifetime of aluminum alloy toolings. Expanding its lifetime is very important for aluminum alloy casting industry development.
Die Casting Technology History
In 1838 Bob Ruth firstly produced lead types by the die casting.
